Veneers and Lumineers® Enhance Smiles’ Natural Beauty
Chipped, worn, gapped, stained, or slightly misaligned teeth can all make a smile less attractive and cause embarrassment about speaking or smiling. Teeth that are visibly imperfect that do not necessarily need extensive dental work, such as treatment for gum disease or gum recession, can benefit from porcelain veneers or Lumineers®. These thin pieces of porcelain or plastic greatly enhance the appearance of the smile by correcting these minor imperfections to create a straight, white smile. If your teeth are showing any signs of wear and tear, you may be a great candidate for cosmetic dentistry!
Regain the Shape of Original Teeth
Both porcelain veneers and Lumineers are designed to restore the appearance of a tooth by covering chips, cracks, or stains. These customized cosmetic enhancements are permanently bonded to the teeth and provide a greater resistance to discoloration than natural teeth. Though veneers and Lumineers are bonded to the teeth in different manners, the purpose of both options is to restore the height, width, and color of the original tooth.Watch Video
Porcelain Veneers ›
Veneers are made of highly durable porcelain material. Due to their thickness, they require that a small portion of the tooth enamel be removed before bonding. Once bonded, they can remain fixed to the tooth for many years.
Lumineers are made from a much thinner material than porcelain veneers, though they are still strong and durable. Because of their thinness, Lumineers do not require that any tooth enamel be removed before bonding, and can be applied to the tooth quicker than veneers.
